Laeticia Gattoni was born and raised in Geneva. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Law, a master's degree in Civil and Criminal Law from the University of Geneva. A semester of her master's degree was completed in Lucerne. She holds certificates in both Transnational Law and in Legal Matters.

Laeticia Gattoni worked as an assistant at the University of Geneva in the Department of History of Law and Legal Doctrines. She also worked in a private bank's in the legal department as well as completed a six-month internship at the prosecutor's office of Valais.

Laeticia's mother tongue is French. She also has good working knowledge of English and understands German.

When she's not working, Laeticia enjoys winter sports, sailing, painting, and literature.
